What RFID Wristbands Actually Do at Events
An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) wristband contains a tiny chip and antenna embedded in the fabric, silicone, or Tyvek band. When tapped against a reader, the chip transmits a unique ID. That ID can be linked to a guest profile, ticket tier, room access, cashless wallet, photo booth, drink package, or simply a session check-in.

Printing on RFID Wristbands
Most events use sublimation print for full-color logos and sponsor branding on woven polyester bands. Silicone bands typically use silkscreen (1-4 spot colors) or debossed-and-color-filled effects. Tyvek bands use offset or digital print.
