Common Mistakes to Avoid

Frequently Asked Questions

What length should I order for a mixed batch of carry-on and check-in? +
Order 190 cm (75 in). It fits everything from 22-inch carry-on up to 28-inch standard check-in. Going shorter (170 cm) excludes most check-in luggage. Going longer (210 cm) wastes material on carry-on bags.
Does TSA lock add real value? +
Only for the US market. TSA locks add $1.50-2.50 per belt. For cruise lines, hotels, airline crew, regular travelers — basic plastic buckle is sufficient. TSA lock makes sense as a paid upgrade option for travel agencies selling premium kits.
Can I print on both sides of the belt? +
Yes. Sublimation and heat transfer can print both sides. Silkscreen also supports it but doubles the print cost (each side needs separate screens). Most events only print one side because that's what shows when wrapped around luggage.
What's the difference between webbing materials? +
Standard polyester webbing is the default — durable, prints well, cost-effective. Recycled RPET webbing available (+10%) for sustainability-focused brands. Nylon webbing is more stretchy and not recommended for luggage belts. Cotton/canvas webbing is heavier and only used for premium leather-edged belts.
How do you ship 1000 luggage belts? +
100-300 pcs: air freight DHL/FedEx, $2-4/kg. 500+ pcs: sea freight FOB Hong Kong/Yantian, ~$300 per pallet (500-700 belts). DDP delivery to your warehouse available with customs clearance included.
